The Qld Mines Rescue Challenge 2007 was held in Townsville at the end of August. Pat and Barry from our Sales Team were heavily involved in the Challenge, and it was a busy and rewarding couple of days. Safe Option Solutions and Ferno Australia were proud to once again sponsor the Vertical Rescue Challenge. It was a highly successful competition in all areas of the Challenge, and all participating teams had some useful experience in helping to improve safety in our mine sites.

Was definitely having so many of the Teams come and enjoy Beer & Pizza Happy Hour at our new premises in Townsville! Demonstrations of the Powerquick Powered Ascent Unit and the new Ferno Arachnipod were interesting and informative, and gave the Rescue Teams plenty of opportunities to see how these new products operate, and can be used on site.
